We are proud of our beautiful lakes, the largest being Crown Lake that consists of 650 acres for fishing and water sports.  A full service marina is available for boat rentals, launching and related needs.  For the serious golfer, our two 18 hole golf courses are second to none.  Both courses are open to the public.   Many golfers keep their carts in their own garages and “commute” to the course in their cart.

Horseshoe Bend offers churches for nearly every denomination, excellent restaurants, medical services, a 12 lane bowling establishment, a library, grocery store, barber shop, beauty salon, video rental, gas stations, gift shops, a health spa with indoor pool, and an airport with a 4,530 ft. runway.  Lodging is available at our Hotel and Spa, at the Marina, which offers log cabins on the lake shore, or at the Crown Point Resort and Time Share.  Rental homes, both on and off the water, are available as well.

Horseshoe Bend is a community that began as a retirement resort and now enjoys two and three generations of family involvement.  For the retiree, it is a relaxing, safe and economical life style where taxes are low, spirits are high, and benefits endless.   The FBI has recognized Horseshoe Bend as one of the safest cities in the country.   More recently, we were chosen as “Volunteer Community of the Year”.
